Description

The Meinl Byzance 18'' Extra Thin Hammered Crash is an exceptionally musical and responsive cymbal for drummers looking for a rich, dark, and expressive sound. This crash is part of the prestigious Byzance Traditional series and is entirely hand-hammered in Germany from high-quality B20 bronze alloy.

Thanks to its extra thin profile, this cymbal reacts immediately to the lightest touch, with a soft attack and a warm, natural sustain. The hand-hammered finish gives the cymbal not only a unique sound but also a characteristic look. This cymbal is perfect for dynamic playing and genres such as jazz, singer-songwriter, pop, and world music, where nuance and subtlety are essential.

The 18-inch diameter offers an excellent balance between control and volume, making this crash well-suited for smaller setups as well. If you are looking for a crash cymbal with a lot of character and an organic feel, then the Meinl Byzance Extra Thin Hammered Crash is an absolute must-have.
