The Zildjian 20" K Custom Dark Ride (K0965) is a characterful ride for drummers looking for a dark, warm, and controlled sound. This ride from the popular K Custom series combines excellent stick definition with a dry, full stick sound. This keeps rhythmic patterns clearly audible, while the dark undertones provide a rich and musical sound.
Thanks to the Medium Thin weight, the K Custom Dark Ride responds smoothly and musically. The cymbal also has sufficient crash qualities to be used as a crash for accents and dynamic passages. Its typical dark and slightly trashy sound characteristics make this ride particularly interesting for drummers seeking more character and nuance than can be found in a brighter ride cymbal.
The 20 inch Zildjian K Custom Dark Ride is excellent for use in jazz, blues, fusion, pop, studio recordings, and light to medium rock. With its warm sound, clear articulation, and versatile response, this is a professional ride that can easily be integrated into various drum kits and musical styles.
