Description
“Vintage Refined”
Bromo presents the BAR2R, an acoustic guitar designed to capture the visual appeal of classic vintage instruments. Built on a grand auditorium body, it offers balanced projection and comfortable playability, suitable for a wide range of playing styles.
Compared to the BAR1H and BAR1HM, which feature a lighter aged look, the BAR2R showcases a more pronounced yet refined relic treatment. The aging process focuses primarily on the appearance and extends from the body finish to the hardware and fittings, creating a cohesive and authentic vintage look.
Instead of applying a uniform or predetermined aging pattern, the BAR2R is finished with hand-sprayed lacquer and carefully hand-sanded. This allows for subtle and natural variations between individual instruments. While every BAR2R looks very similar, no two examples are completely identical — reflecting a more human, artisanal finishing process, while still maintaining a consistent and purposeful design.
Rocky Mountain Series
The Rocky Mountain Series refers to the unforgettable beauty of the mountain range from which it takes its name. These top-tier models will undoubtedly provide advanced guitarists with a great deal of playing pleasure.
The Rocky Mountain Series features an all-solid body with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, which advanced players greatly appreciate for their full and balanced acoustic tone. The innovative ToneFlow bracing system further increases resonance throughout the body, providing a broader resonance spectrum and richer tonal colors than conventionally braced guitars. A high-quality mahogany neck is combined with an ebony fretboard for smooth playing. Individual factory adjustment and attention to detail ensure a sensational playing experience.
Bromo guitars are 100% made in their own purpose-built factory in Surabaya, Indonesia. With the accumulated knowledge, culture, and resources of 3 generations, they have built a state-of-the-art workshop that combines advanced technology with the skills of craftsmen who have practiced the trade their entire lives, to make Bromo the best possible guitars.
