The EarthQuaker Devices Special Cranker is a powerful and responsive overdrive pedal that takes your tube amp to the next level. This analog effect pedal is designed to simulate natural amp overdrive, without the compression or coloration found in many other overdrives. Thanks to the germanium/silicon clipping toggle, you can switch between a warm, vintage response or a modern, tighter sound – ideal for guitarists who need both classic crunch and contemporary bite. The Special Cranker preserves the dynamics and tone of your guitar, and responds perfectly to your playing style and volume knob. With intuitive controls for Level, Tone, and Gain, this pedal is easy to tune to your preference. Whether you are looking for a light boost for solos or a solid overdrive for your rhythm parts, this stompbox always delivers. Handmade in Akron, Ohio and true bypass – an overdrive you can rely on!
