Description
The EarthQuaker Devices Tentacle is a compact and powerful analog octave-up pedal, designed to give your guitar signal a raw, upper-octave boost. Based on the octave section of the popular Hoof Reaper pedal, the Tentacle delivers that iconic, vintage octave tone that works perfectly in combination with fuzz, distortion, or even clean tones.
This pedal is completely plug-and-play: no knobs, no settings – just plug in and play. The Tentacle immediately adds a rich, harmonic top layer to your playing, especially effective for lead parts, power riffs, or psychedelic textures. It responds excellently to your playing style and placement in your effect chain, and works best when placed before distortion/fuzz pedals.
Like all EarthQuaker Devices pedals, the Tentacle is true bypass and handmade in Akron, Ohio (USA). The robust metal housing makes the pedal tour-ready and resistant to intensive use. A perfect addition to your pedalboard if you love classic octave tones with modern reliability.
