Description

The Evans 16'' G12 Coated is a high-quality snare and tom drumhead option for drummers looking for extra durability, warmth, and a versatile sound. With its single 12 mil ply, this head offers more body and a longer lifespan than traditional 10 mil variants, while still maintaining the responsiveness and dynamics that make Evans heads so popular. The coated finish provides a warm, controlled tone with clear articulation, ideal for both studio recordings and live performances.

This head responds excellently to both soft ghost notes and powerful accents, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles such as rock, pop, jazz, and fusion. The coating also contributes to a pleasant stick response and offers slight dampening that minimizes unwanted overtones without losing the natural, open sound. Thanks to Evans’ Level 360 technology, the head sits perfectly on the shell, ensuring effortless tuning and optimal resonance. For drummers who want to combine durability and musical expression, the Evans 16'' G12 Coated is a reliable and professional choice.
