Product Description for Hiwatt HI-5 Guitar Amplifier
The Hiwatt HI-5 guitar amplifier delivers the iconic British sound in a compact and powerful format. This amplifier offers 5 watts of pure tube tone, perfect for both home use and studio recording. The HI-5 combines classic Hiwatt clarity with a rich, full-bodied tone and a dynamic response that reacts to every nuance of your playing style.
Thanks to the combination of an ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tube and an EL84 power tube, the HI-5 provides a warm, musical overdrive with sparkling highs and tight lows. With simple yet effective controls—Gain, Tone, and Master Volume—you can effortlessly switch between crystal-clear cleans and powerful crunch tones. The amplifier is ideal for guitarists seeking an authentic vintage sound without high wattage.
The Hiwatt HI-5 is not only perfect for practice sessions but also excellent for recording, thanks to its natural compression and harmonic richness. Its robust design and high-quality components ensure years of reliability and exceptional sound quality.
