The Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9 is one of the most recognizable and influential overdrive pedals ever made. This legendary green stompbox is known for its warm, dynamic overdrive and characteristic mid-boost, which allows it to cut through a band mix perfectly. The TS9 is a faithful reissue of the classic design and is used worldwide for blues, rock, pop, and even metal.
With its three clear controls, Drive, Tone, and Level, the TS9 is easy to adjust. Use Drive for anything from a subtle edge of distortion to a solid crunch, Tone for the amount of treble, and Level to set the output volume. The Tube Screamer also works excellently as a boost in front of an overdriven tube amplifier, where it brings the mids to the forefront even more.
The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer features a robust housing and can be powered by a 9V battery or an external 9V DC adapter with a center-negative connection. This makes this compact effects pedal an excellent choice for both beginning and professional guitarists.
