The LD Systems MON 8A G3 is a compact yet powerful floor monitor that utilizes the latest technologies and high-quality components, which is clearly audible in its sound performance. Despite these advanced features, the monitor has remained very affordable.
With its modest size, the LD Systems MON 8A G3 is barely noticeable. This small member of the LD Systems MON series is perfectly suited as a stage monitor for musicians and DJs, but can also serve as a full-range speaker. The 8-inch woofer allows it to reproduce low frequencies down to 59 Hertz, which is remarkable given its compact design. In addition, it is equipped with convenient functions, including four EQ presets, a delay function, powerCON in/out, 2x XLR/jack combo inputs, and 2x XLR thru outputs.
The MON 8A G3 uses coaxial speakers, which results in excellent sound quality, even when standing close to the speaker, as is often the case with stage monitors. The sound is further enhanced by the DynX® DSP (Gen.2), which ensures that the sound does not distort, even at higher volumes. The CD horn of the MON 8A G3 contributes to the optimal 50° x 90° dispersion of the sound.
