This fantastic keyboard from Medeli shows that innovation and affordability can go hand in hand. The instrument sets itself apart with its sampler, DJ styles, and XY pad. With the MK401, Medeli focuses on a younger group of musicians: experimenting, creating, and making music are central.
XY pad: with a simple finger movement, you can drastically distort the sound for even more expression in your performance. There are various built-in presets that allow you to control different parameters, such as LPF (low pass filter), HPF (high pass filter), resonance, reverb, delay, and sidechain. No idea what all this means? Don't panic—the user-friendly interface immediately invites you to play with all the possibilities.
Sampler: the MK401 features a microphone above the display. Record a sample (for example, of a voice) and the keyboard automatically transposes and spreads it across the entire keyboard—recording a background choir becomes a piece of cake.
