Description
The Medeli UP203 is the first model in Medeli’s new UP series, featuring significant advancements in both design and playing experience compared to previous models. It is equipped with Medeli’s flagship German Grand piano sound, the new Japanese Grand piano sound, advanced harmonic resonance, adjustable piano sound parameters, compatibility with the PianoToolbox app, and a new pedal unit that supports half-damper—making it the ideal choice for pianists of all levels and playing styles.
The keyboard: GAS-II keyboard (Graded Action Standard II) – graded hammer action, black keys with a matte finish. The new GAS-II keyboard features a greatly improved hammer mechanism compared to its predecessor (GAS), providing a more comfortable and realistic playing experience. All keys have a matte surface, which reduces light reflection while playing and simplifies maintenance. Just like an acoustic piano, the weight distribution across all 88 keys is graded: heavier in the bass and lighter in the treble, with resistance tailored to the feel of a real grand piano.
Note: the PianoToolbox app only works via a wired connection. For Android phones, a USB-B to USB-C cable is required; for iPhones with a lightning port, a camera connection kit is needed.
