Description
Imagine: the soft light of your living room reflecting off the polished cabinet of a piano that feels as vibrant as your own inspiration. As your fingers glide over the keys, a rich, resonant sound fills the room – barely distinguishable from a real grand piano. But unlike an acoustic instrument, this piano adapts to your rhythm and creativity: play at full volume during the day or with headphones late at night, ensuring your inspiration can always flow freely.
The Medeli UP805 is more than just a digital piano: it is an invitation to create, explore, and perform. Equipped with a Grand Action 3-sensor Premium Wooden keyboard (G3PW) and the latest AI-driven Play to Search technology, it combines an authentic touch with tools that bring your music to life.
Immersive sound
At the heart of the UP805 is a 6-speaker system, powered by 2 x 50-watt and 4 x 25-watt amplifiers, which delivers the dynamic depth and power of a grand piano. Medeli’s Dynamic Acoustic System (D.A.S.) and Free Strings Modeling (FSM) ensure that every note sounds clear, warm, and full of emotion. Whether you are playing a classical piece or composing something new, the UP805 captures every detail of your performance.
AI meets creativity
Thanks to the innovative, AI-powered Play to Search function, you can find the perfect song by simply playing a few notes. This smart tool, combined with a clear 256 x 64 OLED display and capacitive touch controls, makes the UP805 a seamless extension of your musical imagination.
Designed for the modern interior
The elegant, high-gloss cabinet of the UP805 is not only beautiful to behold, but also designed to fit effortlessly into your living room or studio. With Bluetooth MIDI & Audio, multiple USB connections, and two headphone jacks, it is equipped for both quiet practice and impressive performances.
The keyboard: G3PW keyboard (Grand Action 3-sensor Premium Wooden) – wooden keyboard, three sensors, escapement structure, graded hammer action, ivory-feel white keys, matte-finish black keys, extended key length, and pivot point. The G3PW keyboard is Medeli's latest wooden keyboard and has been developed down to the smallest detail to replicate the nuance of a grand piano. It combines the most advanced Medeli technologies in material and construction, allowing players of all levels to enjoy an authentic, pure, and rich playing experience.
The white keys are carefully milled from selected solid wood, providing a firm and stable playing feel – visually and physically the closest experience to an acoustic piano. Thanks to a special surface treatment process, the white keys feature a finely textured ivory look, while the black keys have a matte finish that reduces light reflection and simplifies maintenance.
An extended hammer lever simulates the touch of a grand piano by increasing the distance between the key and the pivot point, which allows for comfortable playing at the base of the keys. The keyboard features a graded weight distribution across all 88 keys – heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble – just like an acoustic piano. An escapement simulation is also present: when pressing the key slowly, resistance gradually increases and then suddenly drops, just like the action of a grand piano. Additionally, a three-sensor detection system ensures that a key does not have to be fully released before a note can be struck again, which is ideal for fast trills and expressive playing.
