The Medeli UP82 is a sophisticated entry-level digital piano that succeeds the UP81 with clear improvements in both appearance and sound. Thanks to its enhanced finish, the UP82 not only looks sleek and elegant, but also radiates craftsmanship in any setting.
The amplifier is 25% more powerful, giving the UP82 a fuller and richer sound, bringing every performance to life. This complements the instrument's other strengths, such as the fully weighted GAS-II keyboard for an authentic playing experience and a realistic 3-pedal unit, all housed in a cabinet with powerful sound.
The keyboard: GAS-II keyboard (Graded Action Standard II) – graded hammer action, black keys with a matte finish. The GAS-II keyboard features a significantly improved hammer mechanism compared to its predecessor (GAS), providing a more comfortable and realistic playing experience. All keys have a matte finish, which reduces light reflection while playing and simplifies maintenance. Just like an acoustic piano, the weight distribution across the full 88 keys is graded: heavier in the bass and lighter in the treble.
The UP82 retains the features that made the UP81 popular with musicians, including the versatile USB-Audio connection that allows you to record directly to your phone or computer – ideal for composers and producers.
