Description

Classic versatility meets titanium capsule technology
Classic sound meets modern craftsmanship; we are proud to re-introduce the improved T2, multi-pattern large-diaphragm true-condenser microphone! Hand-crafted with the highest attention to detail, built with a roadworthy die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches, and rugged spring steel wire mesh grille that can take a beating during day-to-day tour life. The T2 appeals with its down-to-earth elegance, offering discrete electronics prioritizing the features you really need. The T2 brings sought-after classic sound back to mic lockers worldwide.

The T2’s metal switches let you select between 4 polar patterns; from cardioid to omnidirectional or figure-eight to hypercardioid. Whereas the switchable attenuation pads and low-cut filters compensate for loud vocals, guitars, drums, and brass instruments - and easily tame excessive low-frequency rumble or proximity effect. The T2 comes with a hand-crafted, titanium-sputtered, dual-diaphragm capsule to capture sound sources of all kinds with fast transient response, clarity and precision, be it in demanding studio or fast-paced live environments. With titanium being 33% stiffer and 300% lighter than gold – you’ve yet to experience transients like this!

Titanium makes the difference
The T2’s titanium-sputtered capsule is 33% stiffer and 300% lighter than gold giving it a much quicker transient response than gold-sputtered capsules, which is essential when recording instruments that have fast attack - like drums and percussion - to maintain clarity and deliver exceptionally accurate performance.

Focus on your source with four selectable polar patterns
Select between 4 polar patterns with metal switches, from cardioid to omnidirectional or figure-eight to hypercardioid, with a titanium-sputtered, dual-diaphragm capsule for precision-based miking techniques to minimize signal bleed from unwanted sources in demanding studio or fast-paced live environments.

Hand-crafted 1" true condenser capsule
Individually tuned and cared for by sE’s skilled technicians, each T2’s hand-crafted, titanium-sputtered, dual-diaphragm capsule captures sound sources of all kinds with fast transient response, clarity and precision, be it in demanding studio or fast-paced live environments.

Switchable pre-attenuation pad
Select between two pre-attenuation pads for an extended dynamic range and compensate for loud vocals, guitars, drums, and brass instruments.

Switchable low-cut filter
Easily tame excessive low-frequency rumble and proximity effect with two low-cut filters and efficiently adjust for close-miking techniques.

Dent-proof metal housing with premium finish
Hand-crafted with the highest attention to detail, built with a roadworthy die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches, and rugged spring steel wire mesh grille, the T2 is built to last for years of demanding studio use and the day-to-day life of a touring artist.

Now available as a matched stereo pair
Each T2 Matched Pair is rigorously tested, tuned in-house and sonically matched to ensure a virtually identical frequency response for balanced, consistent sound. Complete with a metal mic case, stereo bar, two shockmounts and two T2 microphones.
