Description
The Tama Mike Portnoy Signature Snare Drum 14" x 5.5" is a powerful and extremely versatile snare drum, designed in collaboration with the legendary Dream Theater drummer. This signature snare is known for its sharp attack, bright articulation, and wide dynamic range, making it perfect for progressive rock as well as studio and live work.
The steel shell provides a bright, cutting sound with plenty of projection, ideal for cutting through a dense band mix. Thanks to the die-cast hoops, tuning remains stable even during intense playing, while the high-quality hardware contributes to durability and reliability. The distinctive design and signature details make this snare drum not only a sonic but also a visual statement.
