The Tama Soft Sound Package SSRP50 is a practical solution for drummers who want to reduce the volume of an acoustic drum kit without completely losing the natural playing feel. This package is specially designed for a 5-piece drum kit with a 20" bass drum and consists of four Soft Sound Rings and a Half Soft Sound Beater. The Soft Sound Rings are made of 6 mm thick foam rubber and are easily placed on the drumheads. Thanks to the open central cutout, a large part of the drum's natural response and tone is preserved.
The SSRP50 is ideal for practicing at home, rehearsal spaces, lessons, and situations where a lower volume is desired. The included BSQ5S Half Soft Sound Beater also reduces the volume of the bass drum, while maintaining a familiar playing feel with your regular bass drum pedal.
With the Tama SSRP50 Soft Sound Package, you can practice much more quietly without having to switch immediately to a fully electronic or mesh-head drum kit.
