The Vic Firth SD2 Bolero drumsticks are part of the popular American Custom series and are ideal for drummers and percussionists looking for a light, responsive stick with a full tone. These sticks are made from high-quality maple, which provides a light weight and natural response — perfect for subtle dynamics and fast passages. The SD2 Bolero has a short taper and a round tip, resulting in a clear, warm tone on drums and cymbals. These characteristics make the stick extremely well-suited for genres such as jazz, classical, Latin, and light pop music, as well as for use with percussion ensembles. Thanks to their fine balance and soft feel, the SD2 is an excellent choice for drummers who focus heavily on nuance and articulation. The natural finish provides a comfortable grip without additional coatings. The Vic Firth SD2 Bolero combines craftsmanship and versatility in one stick — a must-have for every nuanced player.
